Playing for Position

This mid-length par 4 is a great way to close a nine. The landing zone off the tee narrows considerably, and there is a left to right wind that will try to push yuur ball towards the bunkers on the right.

If you can, keep the ball to the right centre of the fairway and you will be rewarded with the best approach angle, as the green is seriously protected in front left. It also runs uphill, so add an extra club for best results.

The green is large and runs deep, so go for the stick and you are likely to be putting. If you prefer to lay up, try to be sort right, where you can have a clean look for your chip shot.

The green is large, but fairly flat, so ask the caddy for guidance.

Remember to look from the green towards the Gulf of Thailand for some spectacular views!
